Eight ways to Stimulate a Writer's Mind

There is nothing more frustrating than looking at a blank page. Staring at that paper and wanting to come up with a good idea to write about is pretty difficult. The Colorado State University has a great website dealing with many aspects of writing. Here is a list of the techniques and a URL to connect for particulars.
1. Listing
2. Freewriting
3. Looping
4. Clustering
5. Cubing
6. Answering WH-questions
7. Storyboard
8. Invisible Writing.

For sound info about the writing process, see Writing Studio at http://writing.colostate.edu/guides/teaching/rst/pop5a.cfm .
